What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I recommended the Buzzard TR to a runner in my network who was making the jump from road to trail, and the feedback was exactly what I expected. The lower lug profile made the road sections feel natural while the Max-Grip outsole handled the dirt and loose sections with enough confidence to keep things fun without feeling sketchy."Not every trail runner starts on a trail. The Helly Hansen Buzzard TR Shoe is built for the runner who leaves the neighborhood streets behind and follows the sidewalk until it turns to gravel, then keeps going. A versatile outsole with a lower lug profile bridges that transition naturally, gripping pavement without clunking and digging into dirt and loose terrain without hesitation. HH Max-Grip and Surround-Grip technologies work together across the full contact patch to keep traction reliable whether the surface shifts mid-run or the weather decides to change things up. HH Power-Stride and Free-Flex technologies give the shoe a responsive, natural feel through the full gait cycle, letting the foot move the way it wants to rather than fighting the structure of the shoe. HH Arch-Brace adds support through dynamic terrain without locking anything down, and the Lite-Frame midsole with 30% recycled EVA keeps the ride cushioned and light on longer efforts. Up front, a Pro Guard toe cap and HH Tough-Wear reinforcement protect against the rocks and roots that show up without warning on new trail, while HH Max-Vent breathable mesh at the forefoot keeps airflow moving on warm days. With recycled materials running from the laces down to the strobel, the Buzzard TR is a shoe built to get you into trail running without asking you to leave anything behind.
