What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I picked this up for a young hiker turned skier in my family at the start of the season, and the Vertical Tuning made it simple to adjust the fit as she grew comfortable wearing goggles with it. The venting kept her from overheating on warmer spring days without ever feeling drafty on the cold mornings."Kids grow fast, and the Giro Neo MIPS JR II Helmet Kids' is built to keep up without needing a new one every season. We turn the In Form dial at the back and Vertical Tuning brings the fit in close, closing any gap between helmet and goggles so there is nothing left to distract from the run ahead. That adjustable comfort sits on top of MIPS protection, built into the helmet to help reduce rotational force in certain impacts, the kind more common in the angled falls young riders tend to take while they are still building balance. In Mold construction keeps the whole helmet light on small heads, and Thermostat Control venting adjusts easily between a cold morning chair and an active afternoon on the hill.
