What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "I wore this through a string of variable days, closing the vents down for a cold morning chair and opening them back up once I started working up a sweat on groomers. The fleece liner never held onto that end of day smell the way some of my older helmets did."Some helmets try to do everything and end up doing nothing well, but the Giro Neo MIPS II Helmet keeps its focus on the everyday resort day and nails it. We slide it on before first chair and the In Mold shell feels light from the very first run, with a refined profile that skips the bulk of older lids without giving up any of the coverage. Conditions on the mountain rarely stay the same for long, and the Neo MIPS II keeps pace through Thermostat Control venting that closes down on a frigid lift ride and opens back up once the legs get moving. Stack Vent works alongside our goggles to keep fog from creeping in, while the Ionic+ Fleece liner stays fresh and dry run after run, all backed by an updated MIPS slip plane built to help reduce rotational force in certain impacts.
