The 686 Gateway(TM) Insulated Jacket is built to outlast a single winter. The Youth Evolution(TM) sizing system extends the sleeves an extra 1. 5in, so a kid who's grown since last season doesn't need a whole new jacket to keep riding in this one. Underneath that grow-with-you sizing, body-mapped infiLOFT(R) insulation puts 120g at the core and a lighter 80g at the sleeves and hood, keeping the torso warm on a chairlift without adding bulk to the arms during a run. A 2-layer infiDRY(R) 10K shell blocks wind and wet snow all day, and an attached powder skirt keeps spray out during a deep lap. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"My kid grew two inches over the summer and I was ready to buy a whole new jacket, but the sleeve extension bought us another full season out of this one. They wore it through a wet, heavy snow day and came inside completely dry at the end of it."
