There&';s a new Minion in town! The Maxxis Minion DHX is designed for Downhill riding and racing, with huge center knobs and strong side knobs to give you tons of grip. It&';s best suited for dry conditions, and can be used as either a front or rear tire. Those big blocky knobs have ramping on the front for decreased rolling resistance and a flat back for strong braking performance. Each side knob has strong bracing down the sidewall, giving a super locked in feeling in flat corners and berms. Maxxis&'; new DH casing has increased puncture resistance, with a new protective liner in the sidewall and a stronger butyl insert at the bead to prevent pinch flats. It also now uses 120 TPI threads for a more supple ride and no increase in weight.
