Description ***This jacket is a true-to-size fit that is designed to layer over the top of your baselayers and midlayer jackets.*** The GOHUNT Lightweight Rain Jacket is a purpose-built barrier against inclement weather, designed to provide maximum protection from rain while remaining ultra-breathable. This jacket is packable and lightweight, so you will never leave camp without it. We designed our rain gear with our own proprietary waterproof textile, which features a 3-layer laminate. We want to make sure you stay dry on a hunt, so our jacket has a 37,720 mm H2O waterproof rating AND a breathability rating of 33,379 g/sqm/24 hours, making it the ultimate protection from rain on any hunt, while allowing your body to not soak from the inside. Speaking of breathability, under each arm, we have a large pit zip (13.5" on a size large) with two-way zippers for dumping heat as you hike. Velcro cuffs to help adjust for a seal around your wrists. Zippered hand pockets are placed higher on the jacket to allow you to use them while wearing a backpack, and when you zip the hand pockets up, the top of the zipper area goes into a "zipper garage" to ensure water doesn&';t get into those pockets. The hood is designed to stay up in the wind, with a built-in half-face shield and a cinch cord to keep your neck, cheeks, and ears out of the elements. A drop-tail hem provides extra length in the back to cover your crack during long glassing sessions. Added length in the back to keep your crack dry.
