Ritchey WCS Carbon Brevet Road Fork Description: The Ritchey WCS Carbon Brevet Road Fork is designed around the unique demands of self-supported randonneuring and long distance riding. Tough high modulus carbon fibers and cutting edge construction techniques put less bends in the fibers as they flow throughout the fork which results in a torsionally stiff and robust fork with just the right amount of dampening to create an ideal balance of road feel and comfort. Internal hub dynamo cable routing allows the user to install a headlight that will stay lit as long as the bicycle is moving, and fender and porteur/lowrider rack mounts on the fork blades provide attachment points that will allow a rider to haul everything they need when heading out to destinations unknown. Notes: The hole in the front of the fork crown shown in the images will be closed and is not intended to attach a light or any other accessories. Multiple accessory mounts along the fork legs as well as dropout rack mounts can be used to attach racks or other accessories (max weight capacity is 2.5kg, or 5.5lbs, per leg). Finally, a maximum height of 30mm of headset spacers can be used between the top of the bicycles headset and the bottom of the stems steerer tube clamp.
