What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore these on a mixed climbing route where feel on the tools mattered more than anything, and the precurved fit meant zero break in time. The Pittards leather palm gripped tools securely even as conditions got wet."Mixed climbing and dry tooling demand a level of feel that most gloves simply can't deliver, the kind where you need to trust your grip on a tool without a second thought. The Mixalot Glove is built around that exact need. Wear them on an ice route or a glacier approach, and the precurved, tool specific finger articulation means the glove moves with your hand instead of against it, tool in hand or not. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER back of hand fends off wind and weather while staying breathable, and the Pittards Gripster sheep leather palm delivers the tactility serious tool work demands. Reinforcement between the thumb and index finger stands up to repeated contact, and carabiner clip off loops near the fingertips mean you can rack them fast without breaking your rhythm on route.
