What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"A friend borrowed these for her first few days on the mountain and kept mentioning how her ankles didn't ache by the end of the day. The cuff flexed with her instead of against her on heelside turns, which made a real difference once she started linking them together."There's a particular kind of nervous energy that comes with strapping into a snowboard for the first handful of times, and the Legacy BOA Snowboard Boot is built to take some of that pressure off. A quick spin of the BOA dial gets the fit locked in without any bending over or wrestling with laces, leaving more energy for the actual riding. Once you're moving, the shaped cuff lets heelside turns come more naturally instead of feeling stiff or awkward, and the EVA liner keeps feet warm through long chairlift rides on colder days. Underneath, the FPG Insole cups the heel for extra stability, while the Trace WMN Outsole holds its grip whether you're walking across an icy lot or standing at the top of a run gathering nerve.
