The Leica Fortis 6 1.8-12x42i L-4a Riflescope is a universal, compact optical powerhouse tailored to meet the demanding requirements of both day and night hunting environments. Its particularly compact design makes it the ideal choice for night hunting in conjunction with a thermal imaging attachment, while its massive 6.7x zoom class capability provides a remarkably wide field of view at minimum magnification to ensure maximum situational awareness. The second-focal-plane L-4a duplex reticle features a crisp, illuminated center dot backed by an automated tilt-and-motion sensor that powers off the reticle when the rifle is holstered or rested to conserve battery life. Built into a shock-resistant, nitrogen-purged 1.18-inch aluminum housing, it achieves a stellar 92% light transmission rate and is waterproof down to 13 feet, ensuring reliable, fog-free optical performance in punishing weather conditions.
