"Women's Altra® Olympus 275 Hilo: The Altra Olympus 275 Hilo is a neutral trail running shoe built for women who want serious cushioning and reliable traction on technical terrain. With a 33mm stack height and a zero-drop platform, it gives you a lot of shoe underfoot while keeping your foot in a natural, balanced position - a combination that works well for long days on the trail, all-day hiking, and ultra-distance efforts where comfort over time matters as much as performance.Altra EGO™ MAX foam makes up the midsole, offering a soft, responsive feel that holds up across high mileage. The Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug™ gives you confident grip on wet and dry surfaces, so loose dirt, roots, and slick rock don't slow you down. The MATRYX® one-piece woven upper is durable enough to handle rough terrain while still breathing well on warmer days. And the FootShape™ toe box gives your toes room to spread naturally, which makes a real difference when your feet start to swell on longer efforts. At 8.8 oz, it carries its cushioning well without feeling heavy on the foot. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a longer trail run with some rocky sections and was really impressed by how cushioned they felt without making me feel disconnected from the ground. The toe box gives you so much room - if you've ever had your toes go numb on a long descent, you'll notice the difference right away."" - Rachel, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Carlsbad, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a trail runner who logs big miles and wants a neutral shoe with max cushioning and zero-drop geometry, the Olympus 275 Hilo is worth a serious look.
