"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""I wear this shell from the first groomer laps of the season to the stormiest days of winter. It stretches, moves, and breathes so well that I never feel restricted, even when I'm bootpacking or ducking ropes.""From bell-to-bell resort laps to snowy skin tracks, the Black Diamond Recon Stretch Ski Shell gives us the movement and protection we need to ride in full confidence. With a breathable, waterproof BD. dry™ membrane and a flexible stretch face, this shell adapts effortlessly to the mountain’s changing moods. It’s rugged enough for storm days, breathable enough for bootpacks, and stylish enough to stay on for après. Thoughtful updates to the Recon’s design include a helmet-compatible hood, dual chest and hand pockets, and pit zips for quick ventilation. A removable powder skirt keeps blower snow at bay, and an integrated RECCO® reflector adds peace of mind for sidecountry days. This is a one-shell solution for resort skiers who don’t slow down when the weather rolls in."
