Uberti 1875 Army Outlaw Features The Uberti 1875 Army Outlaw .45 Colt is a faithful reproduction of the big-frame Army-style revolver Remington introduced in 1875 preserving the solid-frame durability and the styling lineage of the Remington 1858 percussion models. This design became closely tied to the infamous Frank James who carried a Remington revolver for most of his outlaw years-and whose preferred chambering was .45 Colt adding an extra layer of authenticity to this model. The long 7.5 barrel supports excellent sight alignment while the fluted cylinder cycles with the deliberate consistent feel expected of a frontier-era single-action revolver. The blued round barrel fits cleanly with its steel furniture and case-hardened frame producing a cohesive traditional presentation. A six-groove 1:16 right-hand twist stabilizes .45 Colt loads dependably complementing the revolver's weight and recoil characteristics. With a 13.6 overall length and a 2.8-pound weight the Army Outlaw delivers the heft balance and classic silhouette associated with the original Remington single-action revolver design.
