Winchester's American Lever Range line loads the 44 Rem Mag for the guns that made the cartridge a legend twice over, first in revolvers and then in lever carbines. The 240gr jacketed soft point wears a profile built to stack safely in a tubular magazine and to feed smoothly through a lever gun's action, with a listed velocity of 1750 fps.50rds to the box makes this a practical choice for a full afternoon behind a carbine rather than rationing out a 20rd defensive box. The same load runs fine through 44 Mag revolvers, so one case covers both halves of a matched pair. Soft point construction opens up enough for hogs and deer at woods ranges and doubles as practice ammo.
