The SureFire SOCOM RC4 is the newest generation of the can that won SOCOM's suppressor trials, rebuilt around a low back pressure design. Traditional suppressors shove gas back through the action and into your face; the RC4 vents it forward instead, so the rifle runs cleaner, the bolt carrier stays closer to its normal speed, and you are not eating gas on every shot. At 5.5" long it keeps a carbine handy instead of turning it into a pole, and construction is 3D printed Inconel, so the internals shrug off sustained fire.Mounting is SureFire's proven Fast-Attach system, which locks up on SureFire muzzle devices in seconds and returns to zero when you swap between rifles. This one wears the Dark Earth finish. For anyone running a 5.56 carbine hard, with drills that put real round counts through the gun, the combination of quick mounting and reduced blowback is exactly what the newest generation of suppressors is supposed to deliver.
