Smith & Wesson shrank the M&P OTF to a 1.9" AUS-8 spear point, putting out the front convenience into a knife that stays under the 2" blade limits many jurisdictions impose. The tan aluminum handle keeps the full size model's texture and control layout in a package built for one hand.A thumb slide fires the assisted blade out and a lock holds it in either position. The deep carry clip buries it in a pocket, and a hardened glass breaker on the butt adds an emergency tool. Total length runs 5.6" open, small enough to forget until it is needed.
