The RIX Stride ST6 Lite is the thermal you actually carry. A 1-6x25mm monocular that rides in a jacket pocket, it answers the constant question of night work: is something out there or not. Sweep a pasture, check a fence line, or find a downed deer without hauling a rifle around to do it.Starting at true 1x keeps the full field of view available for scanning, with magnification up to 6x (up to 4x digital zoom) once a heat source needs a closer look. The Lite designation marks the lighter, simpler version of the Stride line, cutting weight and complexity rather than the core scanning role. Handheld thermal spots game a rifle sight never gets pointed at, which is why serious night hunters run both.
