Daiwa Seaborg Dendoh Power Assist Fishing Reel 3.8/1 4CRBB 12BB 2RB. Right. While electric reels have existed for years most are large and heavy quickly tiring anglers and ultimately forcing them to fish those reels from rod holders. But anglers still want to experience the fun of the fight. The new Seaborg 500 J is the perfect medium for both in-hand and holder-mounted fishing styles. Its small 500 size frame makes it light enough to fish with rod and reel in hand to feel the bite set the hook and fight fish from the rocky depths. Within that compact body the Seaborg 500J packs Daiwas most advanced MAGMAX G brushed motor with an astounding 166lbs of momentary winding power. Not only is the motor powerful but thanks to the JOG POWER LEVER it just takes the push of the anglers thumb to activate and control the rate of retrieval to play the fish as they would on traditional equipment. Improving longevity and long-lasting smoothness a strategically placed MAGSEALED ball bearing placed along the spool shaft prevents water intrusion while maintaining ultra smooth rotation. With a 440 yard capacity of 50lb braid Atlantic and Gulf anglers will have more fun targeting deep snapper Tilefish and Grouper while Pacific anglers target deep rock cod lingcod and halibut.
