What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I grabbed this for a young hiker in my family, and it has become the jacket they want to wear everywhere once the weather turns. The extra insulation in the collar is genuinely cozy, and the ribbed cuffs keep everything tucked in, whether they are on a trail or just running around outside after school."Some jackets are just for the mountain. The Swix Team Down Jacket is for everything else, too. Packed with RDS certified 90% blow-filled duck down, it wraps young adventurers in the kind of warmth that makes a cold afternoon hike feel effortless and a chilly walk to the trailhead parking lot a lot more bearable. The down is sourced from ethically responsible livestock farming, so the comfort comes with a clean conscience built right into the construction. The details on the Team Down Jacket are the kind that parents notice, and kids appreciate without realizing it. Waterproof panels handle unexpected weather and the inevitable snow pile dive. The elastic hood stays put without fussing, the ribbed cuffs keep sleeves right where they belong, and the extra insulation in the collar closes off the gap where cold air always finds a way in. YKK zippers hold up through a full season of daily wear and the kind of treatment only a kid can deliver.
