What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've logged a lot of early-season mileage in this shoe, and it handles transition zones better than most-pavement, dirt, loose gravel, it all feels consistent. The cushioning hits a sweet spot between soft and stable, especially on longer efforts."We grab the Aero Blaze 4 GRVL Running Shoe from Salomon when our run takes us beyond familiar pavement and into the open, rolling stretches of gravel roads. Its lightweight feel helps us ease into cadence quickly, and the shoe stays composed when the surface shifts from packed dirt to scattered stones. As the miles build, the optiFOAM2 midsole keeps our stride steady with cushioned landings and a subtle rebound that softens long descents. The upper wraps securely without pressure points, letting us move confidently across uneven ground, and the outsole delivers the bite we need when corners tighten or terrain breaks apart. With the Aero Blaze 4 GRVL, we move fluidly from one surface to the next, free to follow whichever road or track draws us onward.
