What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I picked this up for a young skier in my family and the Custom Dial made fitting it a total non-issue, even with a hat underneath. The goggles that come with it lock right into the helmet without any gap, which made a big difference for staying warm on the chairlift."Getting young skiers comfortable in their gear is half the battle, and the Salomon Player Combo Helmet takes that challenge off the table. The integrated Custom Dial fit system adjusts in seconds, so little ones can fine-tune the feel themselves rather than waiting for an adult to fiddle with straps at the bottom of the lift. At just 1 lb 1 oz, the In-Mold shell construction keeps weight low and bulk out of the way, letting kids focus on what actually matters: having fun and building confidence on the mountain. The included Silver Mirror goggle lens is rated for partly cloudy conditions at 35% VLT, giving solid visibility on the kinds of mixed days that make up most of a ski season. The goggle is designed specifically to pair with the helmet, so fit between the two is seamless with no forehead gap to let cold air sneak in. A removable, washable liner keeps things fresh through a full season of use, and CE-EN1077 and ASTM F-2040 dual certification means parents can feel confident in the protection underneath all that fun.
