What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I took these out for a few tempo sessions and a race effort, and they feel incredibly quick underfoot. The carbon plate really snaps you forward, and the foam stays lively even late in the run when form starts to fade."When the pace picks up and every second matters, the S/LAB Phantasm 3 SC from Salomon keeps us locked into forward momentum. Built for race efforts and high-speed training, it responds instantly as we push through intervals, tempo runs, and finish-line sprints. The lightweight build disappears on foot, letting us focus on rhythm, cadence, and chasing the next PR. Underfoot, the ultralight PEBA-based foam delivers a soft yet highly responsive ride, while the full-length carbon plate drives efficient transitions and explosive toe-offs. The geometry is tuned for speed, helping us maintain momentum with less wasted energy. A lightweight upper keeps airflow steady and weight low, making this shoe a race-day tool built for fast, committed efforts.
