What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I rely on the Megawatt Headlamp Battery on long alpine routes where I need to know exactly how much runtime I have left without guessing. The LCD screen reporting burn time in real conditions is a genuinely useful feature when you are making decisions about pace and turnaround on a serious objective."Long objectives have a way of outlasting the gear that was not built for them, and the Black Diamond Megawatt Headlamp Battery was designed to make sure your light is never what lets you down. At 50. 32Wh with four hours of burn time at max output, it delivers the kind of sustained power that technical alpine routes, big wall nights, and pre-dawn approaches actually demand. An LCD screen reports runtime in real time, so you always know where you stand, removing one more variable from the mental load of a serious day in the mountains. USB-C fast charging works in both directions, pulling power in when you need to top up and pushing it out to charge other devices when the battery has capacity to spare. The IP67 waterproof and dustproof housing seals everything inside against full immersion, so wet conditions and rough handling are never a concern on the routes where this battery earns its place. Compact and purpose-built for the Megawatt Headlamp, it is the straightforward, reliable power solution that big objectives deserve.
