What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I grab the Whitewalker 108 on the days when the forecast didn't deliver and it's mostly chalky or wind affected snow out there. They still ski light and playful even when there's nothing soft to work with, and the edge hold on firmer snow surprised me for how wide these are."We wake up to a morning that didn't deliver the storm we hoped for, some scattered fresh over firmer snow, and this is where the Armada Whitewalker 108 Skis take over. Built for the days between the deepest powder mornings, these skis handle the in between conditions that make up most of a season, wind affected snow, tracked out pow, and everything in between. The Caruba wood core keeps things light and easy to throw around even when the snow isn't cooperating, while the lightweight edges hold their line when conditions firm up. Smear Tech in the tip and tail keeps the ski from catching in variable snow, so switching direction or landing off angle never feels like a fight, and the sintered carbon base keeps speed up across the flat sections between runs.
