This FlyFather has orange peel finished, lightly colored handles, and anodized pocket clip and latch. The blade is stonewashed 154-CM steel, marked with the Pro-Tech logo and "Flyfather 1 of 1". Pro-Tech's FlyFather butterfly knife is a departure from their traditional lineup of automatic knives, but this balisiong retains the classic blade shape of the Godfather and Godson knives along with the exceptional fit and finish you can expect from every Pro-Tech knife. The handles are comprised of titanium slabs with beveled edges and grooves along the sides. The frame has zen pins and barrel spacer construction while the pivot features 56 ball bearings (14 per pivot side) and set-screw pivots that allow the user to adjust the tension on the blade for smooth, precise action. The latch is rather unique with an arc shape that allows the blade to extend closer to the bottom edge of the handles when closed. An integral stop on the latch prevents it from being hit by the blade. This FlyFather knife sports a flush-mounted, deep carry pocket clip.
