"Men's Mizuno® Wave Exceed Court AC: The Wave Exceed Court AC is a men's tennis and pickleball shoe built for players who need responsive cushioning and stable footing through long rallies, quick lateral cuts, and sudden stops. At 10.9 ounces with a neutral support profile, it gives you a lively, cushioned ride without feeling heavy or unpredictable underfoot - whether you're grinding through a practice session or competing in a match. The midsole layers MIZUNO ENERZY NXT, POWNCE, and U4ICX foam to balance softness and rebound. ENERZY NXT provides a softer feel underfoot with improved energy return, POWNCE adds high-rebound responsiveness to keep each footstrike feeling lively, and U4ICX takes the edge off hard court impact without making the shoe feel mushy. The MIZUNO WAVE plate distributes impact forces across a wider area for stable, controlled transitions when you're planting for a serve or pushing off for a volley. The X10 rubber outsole is Mizuno's durable carbon rubber compound, placed in high-wear zones to hold up on hard court surfaces and maintain traction through quick direction changes. A D-FLEX GROOVE cut into the forefoot lets the shoe bend more naturally with your foot, supporting smoother push-offs during lateral movement. If sizing is a consideration, this model runs best when sized up a half size. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on during a long practice and really noticed how the midsole handles hard court impact - it absorbs the shock without feeling soft and unstable. The forefoot flex made lateral movement feel natural, not forced."" - Sean, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Chula VistaWho It's Best ForIf you play tennis or pickleball regularly and want a neutral court shoe that cushions hard court impact without sacrificing responsiveness, the Wave Exceed Court AC is worth a close look. It suits players who make a lot of quick lateral movements and need a shoe that stays stable and grippy through direction changes. The half-size-up fit recommendation makes it a good option for players who tend to size up in court footwear.
