The SCCY CPX-1, introduced around 2003-2005 by SCCY Industries, was designed by Joe Roebuck as an affordable, American-made, subcompact 9mm pistol for concealed carry. Originally named "Skyy," it rebranded due to trademark disputes. Featuring a DA-only trigger and manual safety, it is known for its budget price and in-house manufacturing in Florida.
