What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've been racing and training in the Scott Cadence Helmet for the past few months, and the ventilation is genuinely impressive for how aerodynamic it sits on your head. The MIPS Air Node system integrates cleanly into the padding without any bulk, and the front vent plugs are a nice touch for early-season cold mornings when you want the aero benefit without freezing your forehead off."The moment a race goes hard, a long climb kicks up, or a fast descent opens up ahead of you, what's on your head starts to matter. The Scott Cadence Helmet was designed specifically for those moments, put through extensive wind-tunnel testing so that every vent, every curve, and every surface detail is working toward the same goal: keeping you fast, cool, and focused when it counts most. The in-mold polycarbonate micro shell construction keeps the weight at 280 grams while the optimized ventilation system moves air efficiently across the full range of effort, from easy spinning to race pace. The new MIPS Air Node brain protection system integrates directly into the padding for a clean, low-profile fit that doesn't add bulk or compromise the aerodynamic profile. Included front vent plugs let you seal off airflow on cold days or when aero optimization takes priority, giving the Cadence real versatility across seasons and conditions.
