What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I picked these up for a young hiker in my family before a week of national park camping, and the Columbia Hike II Jogger earned its place on every single outing. The Omni-Shield treatment handled grass stains and trail mud better than I expected, and the elastic hem kept debris out during a long scramble through some brushy switchbacks."Some kids treat every trail like a personal obstacle course, and the Columbia Hike II Jogger is ready for exactly that energy. Whether the day calls for a long family hike or an impromptu creek crossing, these joggers are built to keep up without slowing anyone down. The stretchy polyester and elastane blend moves naturally with every stride, scramble, and spontaneous detour. Columbia's Omni-Shade UPF 50 construction blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays so sun exposure stays manageable on long exposed stretches of trail. Omni-Shield repellency turns away moisture and resists stains, which means the inevitable mud and grass encounters of an active day outside don't have to end the adventure early. The elastic drawcord waist adjusts easily for a secure fit on the move, and the elastic hem seals out debris when the trail gets brushy. Hand pockets and a back pocket keep small essentials right where they need to be.
