What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The Epic 9 is the kind of foundation that makes everything you build on top of it feel intentional. It's light, it's rigid under power, and for an XC race build I wouldn't start anywhere else."The Epic 9 is 206 grams lighter than the Epic 8 and built around S-Works FACT 12m carbon, making it one of the lightest full-suspension XC race framesets available. The updated Flight Attendant suspension cuts friction by 11% over the previous generation and adjusts automatically, so you're always in the right mode without thinking about it. With 120mm of travel, a threaded BB, UDH-compatible dropout, and internal routing optimized for wireless drivetrains, it's a clean and capable platform for anyone putting together a serious XC race build.
