What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I put the Crew Low Sailing Shoes through a full afternoon of inshore racing, and the HH Hydro-Grip outsole held firm through every tack on a spray-soaked deck without a single hesitation. They are light enough to forget you have them on, but supportive enough that my feet felt fresh well into the evening at the dock."Racing days ask a lot from your feet. From the moment you push off the dock to the last tack on the final upwind leg, you are moving constantly on a surface that is wet, tilted, and unforgiving of bad footing. The Crew Low Sailing Shoes from Helly Hansen are engineered for exactly that kind of day. The HH Hydro-Grip outsole and HH Storm Siping technology work in tandem to hold traction on slick fiberglass and wet teak, so your attention stays on the race instead of where you are stepping. The cushioned, stable midsole and padded heel absorb the hours without wearing you down, and the lightweight, quick-drying construction means a wave over the bow is a minor inconvenience rather than a ruined afternoon. Comfortable enough to draw a second pair for everyday wear, technical enough to belong on the starting line, the Crew Low is the rare sailing shoe that earns its spot both on and off the water. Built from more than 70% recycled materials, it carries that performance with a lighter footprint.
