What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I mounted the TetraFender R1 before an early spring ride when the roads were still pretty wet, and it made a noticeable difference right away. The adjustable struts got it sitting close to the tire quickly, and I stayed a lot cleaner than I expected to on a road that soggy."A wet road does not have to mean a miserable ride, and the Topeak TetraFender R1 is a big part of why. The hook and loop strap system mounts directly to the fork without tools, and the angle-adjustable struts let you position the fender close to the tire for coverage that actually intercepts the spray rather than letting it pass by underneath. At just 173g, it barely registers on the bike, and the polished underside keeps road grime from accumulating between rides. When the ride stretches into the evening or an overcast day cuts the light shorter than expected, the included 3M reflective decals keep you visible without any extra effort. The TetraFender R1 is the kind of lightweight addition that quietly expands how many days a year your road bike is actually usable.
