"The Winchester XPR Compact Bolt-Action Rifle accommodates shooters with a shorter length-of-pull and barrel length than standard XPR models. The XPR combines proven concepts from Winchester's time-tested Model 70 with modern manufacturing processes and materials to produce a great hunting rifle at an affordable price. Accuracy is ensured with a solid steel receiver that sits solidly within the advanced polymer stock and a free-floated, target-crowned barrel. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad absorbs excess recoil. The XPR utilizes a newly designed MOA Trigger System that's adjustable for both over-travel and pull weight. The XPR's bolt features 3 locking lugs with a short 60 lift. The bolt can be cycled when the safety is engaged by using the bolt release button. A cocking indicator on the bolt shroud can be seen or felt by the user to know if the rifle is cocked and ready to fire. This model comes complete with a Vortex Crossfire 3-9x40 scope with BDC reticle, so it's ready to go right out of the box. Included detachable box magazine.
