Mosin-Nagant Model 91/30 - 7.62x54R - Good Surplus Condition Offered here is a Mosin-Nagant Model 91/30 bolt-action rifle, chambered in the legendary 7.62x54R cartridge. This rifle appears to be an earlier Soviet Mosin that was later configured in the standard 91/30 pattern, making it an interesting example for collectors of military surplus rifles. This rifle is in good surplus condition, showing honest age, handling wear, and military character throughout. The wood stock has a lighter finish than many wartime examples and displays visible dings, scratches, dents, arsenal marks, and service wear consistent with age and use. The metal surfaces show finish loss, patina, and wear, but the rifle presents well overall. Notable features include: Mosin-Nagant 91/30 configuration 7.62x54R chambering Bolt-action operation Approx. 48.5" overall length Full-length military wood stock Adjustable rear sight Hooded front sight Straight bolt handle Steel magazine floorplate Cleaning rod present Sling included Military sling slot escutcheons Visible Soviet/arsenal markings Earlier-dated barrel/receiver markings visible This Mosin has a strong surplus look with plenty of historical appeal.
