What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The smocked waist is the detail that earns this one a spot in the rotation - it gives you a secure fit without a drawstring digging in mid-run. The water resistance is legit useful for early morning runs or unpredictable weather, not just a marketing note. High-rise cut stays put when you're moving hard. A solid short for runners who want function without sacrificing fit."Some runs start before the weather has made up its mind. The FP Movement Element Short is built for those mornings - water-resistant fabric that sheds light rain and wind without trapping heat, paired with a smocked waist that keeps everything in place from the first mile to the last. The high-rise cut adds coverage and stays put through longer efforts without riding or shifting. Breathability and moisture management are worked into the fabric construction, so the short keeps up when the pace picks up. It's a running short that takes conditions seriously without looking like it's trying too hard.
