When El Chete was released in 2017, it took off, immediately becoming a top selling model for TOPS. Something about the functionality of the blade along with its aesthetics just struck a chord with people in the knife community. The Mini version originally became a thought after making some wooden Christmas ornaments that were shrunken versions of full-sized blades. A few of those ornaments looked like they would make awesome knives. So, TOPS decided to get some minis made.Coming in at 8 and 3/4 inches overall, the El Chete Mini is only mini compared to the original.
