The Schrade Backdraft Axe features a unique, two-sided cutting edge on the ax head. The skeletonized design allows for a reduced weight that allows the user to swing the ax either one or two handed. The handle is constructed of a G-10 material that gives improved grip and tough exterior. At the end of the handle, there is a lanyard hole to attach a wrist lanyard to prevent accidental slips.
