Really Right Stuff added the dual clamp system that is able to clamp the dovetail standard and picatinny rails in the same unit. The R-Lock system adds unique safety-stop features which are built into both a mounting rail and quick-release clamp. The R-Lock system allows users to have multiple hard-stop positions. Really Right Stuff removed extra knobs/adjustment under-utilized in the industry. The Anvil ARC-30 is as rigid as a leveling base but articulates like the popular photography ballheads while minimizing the limitations of the system.
