During the process of building an AR15, installing the pivot pin is a small step that can quickly become a giant pain in the neck. After dealing with this issue first hand, Real Avid decided it was about time for someone to create the right tool for the job. The AR-15 Pivot Pin Tool takes the nail biting, pin-launching task of installing the pivot pin and turns it into something you might actually look forward to. Simply align the guide, insert the spring and detent pin, then slide the pivot pin into place. Click. Snap. Done. This small stroke of genius is just another reason why you should build smarter, not harder.
