The MTM Patch Trap is an ideal solvent splatter box for cleaning your rifles and shotgun barrels. As the brush leaves the barrel it can splatter solvent all over the place, which can get messy. The patch trap prevents splatter and acts as a patch catcher, keeping dirty patches off your bench and the floor. As the patches accumulate they will start absorbing the extra solvents, which can easily be dumped out with the convenient flip top. The Patch Catcher's compact size stores easily in your gun cleaning kit. The adjustable pull strap is designed to fit 22 long rifle barrels up to most double barrel shotguns. Compact size makes it fit easily in your gun cleaning kit: 10.3" x 2.3" x 3.6" Tall
