Doubletap was started by Mike McNett, President and CEO, in his Salt Lake City garage in 2002. Since then, Doubletap has developed a reputation for powerful, reliable and accurate ammunition loaded with a variety of premium bullet options. With their "no punches pulled" style of building ammunition Doubletap uses only the best components available to manufacture the highest performing ammunition possible. With special attention to quality control and precision craftsmanship each individual round is inspected and handled by Doubletap employees that share a passion for shooting and hunting resulting in the highest quality assurance possible. Doubletap designed this load to be flat shooting and hard hitting. The full metal jacket bullet is great for target practice or for protection while hiking or camping when more penetration is ideal.
