The Boyd's forend for AR-15 is designed for the compression style model. They are not designed to replace the free float handguards. These handguards are two pieces and will not fit the triangle front caps. It must have the front "cap" by the gas block and the delta ring. All finished parts have been CNC inlet to Boyds' House Action.NoteVariations may exist from firearm to firearm, minor fitting may be required to get that perfect fit to your firearm. Natural cosmetic imperfections such as minor knots, burls, heartwood, mineral lines or minor cosmetic fill work are normal and are not considered defective.
