This Beretta Optics Ready Plate Kit is for the 80X Cheetah series pistols with RDO milled slide. This base is only compatible with the listed Red Dot and identical mounting footprint optics. Instructions: Remove the optics blanking plate/rear sight plate (take care not to remove the firing pin block return spring). Retain the M3x5 screws that retained the blanking plate for reuse. Clean and degrease the threaded holes in the slide. Install the SC pattern plate to your slide using the blanking plate/rear sight plate screws. Do not over torque (>12 in/lbs). Install optic to plate using the retention screw that came with the optic. Do not over torque (>12 in/lbs). Ensure there is no rattle or play in your optic's fit. Beretta recommends adding a witness mark to denote the screw position relative to the optic to track any loosening of the retention screw when used .
