Their bearing surfaces are double-honed ensuring reliable smooth operation at high Rpm. The rods feature a double-drilled small end and have oiling grooves for increased lubrication. The crank pin included is made from hot-rolled Astm 4115 steel and case-hardened to a level of 5862 Rc. For Polaris twin-cylinder engines, two kits per vehicle are necessary.
