"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""These are my go-to shorts for summer hikes and fast treks. The stretch is awesome for steep climbs, and the waistband stays put without digging in. They dry super fast and the mesh-lined pockets help keep things cool."" The Rab Momentum Short is made for women who move fast and light in the mountains. Whether we’re hiking ridgelines or exploring high trails in shifting conditions, these shorts offer the stretch, breathability, and weather resistance we count on. The Matrix™ nylon fabric feels light and agile, with just enough protection to fend off wind or unexpected weather. A deep stretch waistband with an adjustable drawcord keeps the fit secure without pinching, while vented mesh pockets add breathability and function. A zippered back pocket holds small essentials, and the 4-inch inseam gives us full mobility without restriction. From day hikes to long-distance treks, the Momentum keeps pace effortlessly."
