"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I have been running the Heli Pro 24L Backpack on full backcountry days, and it threads the needle perfectly between being big enough for a serious day out and small enough to move freely on steep terrain. The dedicated shovel and probe sleeves keep my safety gear genuinely organized and accessible, and the fleece-lined goggle pocket has saved my lenses on more cold mornings than I can count.""The skin track starts before sunrise, and fresh snow is calling. When the day demands everything from approach to descent and back again, the Dakine Heli Pro 24L Backpack is the pack that keeps up without getting in the way. Sized right for a full day in the backcountry without crossing into cumbersome territory, it carries your safety gear, your layers, and your snacks while staying out of the conversation when the skiing gets serious. Dakine built the Heli Pro around the details that matter when conditions deteriorate fast. Dedicated snow tool sleeves keep your shovel and probe organized and ready to deploy without digging through the main compartment under pressure. A deployable helmet carry stows cleanly when you don't need it and deploys fast when you do, and a large fleece-lined goggle pocket protects lenses from scratches and cold on the approach. The backpanel zipper gives you clean main compartment access without unpacking everything, and the insulated hydration sleeve doubles as laptop storage when the pack heads off the mountain with you."
