Product Description

The legend of Rorke's Drift. The Enfield Martini-Henry faithfully served the British army through the Zulu and Boer wars thanks to its rapid-reloading lever action breech block design, and its stout .577/450 caliber that rivaled the Springfield Trapdoor's .50-70 caliber at its time. This particular rifle being a Mk IV, I, puts its manufacturing in the late 1880s, with this rifle having held up relatively well for its age. Some patina has formed along the barrel and breech block, while the wood has received a few dents from use with a slight split along the trigger guard on the left side. The breech mechanism is in perfect working condition, and all barrel bands are firmly in place. No extras are included.
