"The Smith-Corona M1903A3 is a World War II-era bolt-action military rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Produced between 1942 and 1944 by the Smith-Corona Typewriter Company in Syracuse, New York, it was one of the two main manufacturers of this model (the other being Remington) to support the U.S. war effort. This model has a Remington bolt (""R"" mark) and possibly a modified or replaced barrel."
