Inspired by the baitfish found in and around Boca Grande Pass, it carries a fuller profile that&&';;s easy for fish to track, even in heavy current or low visibility. What makes it especially useful is how well it translates across fisheries. It&&';;s an obvious fit for tarpon, but that same profile and movement make it a strong option for aggressive species like peacock bass and tigerfish-anywhere fish are keyed in on larger bait. This is a great fly to fish on a floating line, but it also a great choice for dredging flies over coral heads or drop offs.
