What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I'd build this up as a do-everything trail bike without hesitation. The SB120 is genuinely fast in both directions: it climbs efficiently, and downhill, it rides like a bike with more travel under me. The geometry rewards aggressive riders without punishing anyone who wants to cover ground fast."TURQ Series carbon layupYeti's highest-grade carbon is tuned for consistent torsional stiffness and compliance across all six frame sizes. Virtual simulation and back-to-back prototype testing result in a frame that feels precise and controlled without transferring harsh feedback to the rider. Slack geometry and efficient climbingThe 66. 2-degree head angle is calibrated for a 140mm fork up front, a deliberate front-heavy travel split that keeps the bike balanced and composed on descents without the weight penalty of a longer-travel platform. Size-specific chainstay lengths and seat tube angles keep any rider in a powerful pedaling position. Switch Infinity V2 rear suspensionThe translating pivot design prevents pedaling from firming up the suspension and braking from kicking it off line, so the 120mm of rear travel stays active and sensitive. The 11% progressivity curve provides usable travel at 30% sag and controlled bottom-out when the terrain demands it. Building up the SB120 and want help dialing in the right spec?
